University of Western Ontario Case Study Looking for energy savings and improved boiler communications for remote buildings, the University of Western Ontario made an educated choice: Honeywell ControLinks™. The campus of the University of Western Ontario includes more than 80 buildings, most of which receive heat via steam from the main power plant generator. Ten additional boilers serve six residence buildings. Working with Yorkland Controls, an Authorized Honeywell Distributor, the university utilized the Honeywell ControLinks™ Fuel Air Control System initially to generate energy savings at the satellite boilers.
